Whenever I power walk or walk fast, my ankles start to really hurt and I mean, it hurts so bad that I start to limp. The pain eventually goes up my leg. Can anyone tell me what the cause is, why and what I can do please?

WHAT AN ARCH SUPPORT CAN AND CANNOT DO

An arch support does not correct the shape of your foot. The Hospital for Special Surgery states it directly:

A boot, brace, or orthotic has not been shown to correct or even prevent the progression of the foot deformity.
